dangergrrl 690 days agoI'd rather it be sooner than later but if i leave saturday afternoon i can take greyhound, provided i arrange stuff with my sister... So, my plan has changed to survive the rest of the week then bus on saturday and i'l be able to have travel money. Sounds simple and reasonable which means there will probally be unforseen problems. In theory i should be back here mid july but it will take me most of july's funds to get the bike here and make it legal. In august i hopefully can/will buy a netbook. Still thinking the inspiron mini 10 with ubuntu preinstalled. Also revised my long term plans to include keeping boulder as a home base. Love it here too much to leave for too long. We have many of the benefits of larger cities plus all the natural beauty nearby you'd expect in the countryside.

Had a double stack and a baked potato, sitting here havin a beer , watchin college girls play/practice softball. Nothin' better to do, being retired/disabled is sweet at times! Guess i'll go to the dinner tonight i need to ramp up my food intake if i'm not gonna sit on my butt at a computer all day. Actually pretty easy when i'm lugging this huge pack. Haven't seen any boulder homeless carrying a bigger single pack so far.
time for the second beer, 24oz budweisers, they had no steel reserve or hurricane high gravity. There are worse things to be doing than sitting on the grass in the colorado sun, watching young women running around in tight uniforms, drinking a beer, relaxing and writing about it. Tonight i'll sleep in the open space on the north side of town, like that's a punishment. I love sleeping outside. Tomorrow night I'll probably sleep at my friends' again. But tonight i stay outside and shall go have steak and eggs for breakfast. Got some blistering from sunburn so sunscreen until it heals.
